Emmet Martin is in his thirty-second year in the financial services industry and has vast experience within many different facets of asset management. Martin attained his designation as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) in 2005 and advises clients regarding issues pertaining to investments, employee benefits, estate planning, tax and insurance.
In 1994 Emmet was designated "Fellow" by the Life Underwriter Training Council and the National Association of Life Underwriters based upon his extensive understanding of insurance principles along with his commitment to ethics.
Martin is experienced in Institutional Asset Management. His Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation was attained in 2002 at the Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania). This has aided him greatly in his work as an investment management consultant to multiple statewide organizations, cities, municipalities and corporations.
Martin is also a certified arbitrator for FINRA. FINRA, the Financial Industry Regulatory Association, was formed in 2007 by merging the NASD and the regulatory arm of the New York Stock Exchange. In his duties as arbitrator, Emmet is charged with using wisdom and fairness in judging tort cases involving member firms as well as their employees and clients.
Emmet is a 1987 graduate of Clemson University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. He and his wife are the proud parents of five boys: all productive members of society. The Martins are members of Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, SC
Zachary earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Anderson University in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Economics, all the while working full time from 2019 through 2021. A native of Greenville, Zachary comes from a line of financial advisors and bankers. He understands that success within the investment industry involves hard work, trust, transparency, and the avoidance of conflicts of interest. These are the key elements necessary to create the win / win situations for which we all strive.
